Delicious and Simple Homemade Granola Recipe

The holiday season is officially upon us, and that means… travel. And lots of it. If you want something a little healthier and more filling than those mini bags of airplane Cheez-its, check out this delicious and simple homemade granola recipe! It is a little salty, a little sweet, and highly addicting. Your traveling seatmates will be jealous.

Ingredients –

6 cups steel-cut oats

2 cups raw pumpkin seeds

2 cups raw sunflower seeds

1 cup raw sesame seeds

2 cups coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)

2 ½ cups raw pecans (chopped)

½ cup raw walnuts (chopped)

1 cup raw almonds (chopped)

1 cup brown sugar

2 tsp salt

1 cup olive oil

1 ½ cups maple syrup

Steps:

1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

2. Add the brown sugar on top of the dry ingredients

3. Pour the olive oil and maple syrup

4. Mix all together

5. Put in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and bake until golden brown.
