    Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl (flour, baking powder and salt) and stir. Set aside.

    Combine wet ingredients in a small bowl (yogurt and egg) and stir.

    Combine wet and dry mixtures and stir well; set aside.

    Slice apples into thin slices.

    Using a round cookie cutter or a knife, cut circles into the apples to remove the core and make a ring.

    Coat apple rings in the batter made in previous steps. Make sure to cover all sides of the apple.

    Fry apple rings until golden brown (about 10-15 minutes).
