Sweet Potato Ravioli with Browned Sage Butter

Thanks to these yummy little raviolis, eating in my bed watching TV feels like a five-star experience. Even if you burn water, these delicious treats are achievable, it looks complicated, but you can do it!! The flavors are worth it… The sweet potato and brown sugar add a hint of sweetness, while the sage keeps the dish savory. How delicious!

Sweet Potato Ravioli with Sage Butter

    Poke holes in sweet potatoes and microwave on high for 3 minutes, until tender. Careful! The sweet potatoes are hot!!

    Slice sweet potatoes in half and remove the inside. Add to bowl and mash.

    Add softened butter and brown sugar to sweet potato mixture. Stir well.

    Cut wonton wrappers into 3 inch squares. Place a small spoonful of sweet potato mixture in the middle. Beat egg and brush along edges of the wonton wrapper to seal. Fold into a triangle and admire your ravioli!

    Bring salted water to boil. In batches, add in raviolis for 3 minutes. Drain well.

    Make sauce! Add butter to pan until hot. Then fry the sage leaves until they are crispy and the butter has browned a bit. Add hot ravioli and crisp them up!

    Serve and enjoy hot! And don’t forget to snapchat your masterpiece! Extra, uncooked ravioli can be frozen for up to 5 days, do not thaw before cooking.
