5 Best Super Bowl Party Foods You Can Make from the C-Store

The Super Bowl is coming up in just a few days, and whether you are rooting for the Patriots or the Eagles, we can all agree that the key to a successful Super Bowl Sunday is the food. Here are the best Super Bowl party foods to serve on Sunday. And for CC students, life just got easier because you can get all of the ingredients for these snacks at the C-Store.

1. Cheese Fries

Ingredients:

1 bag Frozen French Fries

1 bag shredded cheese

Directions:

1. Preheat oven according to package directions.

2. Put fries on baking sheet and place in the oven until defrosted.

3. Remove tray from oven and top with generous handfuls of cheese.

4. Put the tray back in the oven broiler for 5-10 min (or until cheese is melted).

5. Eat!

2. Nachos

Ingredients:

1 bag tortilla chips

1 bag shredded cheese

1 jar salsa

1 container sour cream

1 can beans

1 container guacamole

Directions:

1. Place chips along the bottom of a large tray.

2. Cover with cheese.

3. Put under broiler in oven for 5-10 min (or until cheese is melted).

4. Add layer of beans.

6. Add salsa, sour cream, guac.

7. Top with even more cheese.

8. Eat!

3. Chips and Dip/Guac

If time is getting tight and P!nk is about to start the national anthem, there is no harm in swapping out the nachos for a simple chips and dip.

Ingredients:

1 bag tortilla chips

1 jar salsa

1 container guacamole

Directions:

1. Place chips along the bottom of a large tray.

2. Using two different bowls, fill one bowl with salsa and one with guacamole. Place the bowls in the center of the tray.

3. Serve!

4. Cookie Cake

1 container of cookie dough

1 container of frosting

Directions:

1. Preheat oven according to package directions.

2. Place the cookie dough into a pie pan, or make one large cookie in the center of a baking tray.

3. Bake until golden brown.

4. Once it is cool, cover with a generous layer of frosting.

5. Serve!

5. Pretzels and Frosting

Ingredients:

1 bag of pretzels (any shape)

1 container of frosting

Directions

1. Fill a tray with pretzels.

2. Place the frosting in the center.

3. Dip pretzels in frosting (no double dipping, people. Manners matter).

4. Enjoy!
