9 Must-have Dishes For Your Next Vegetarian Party

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at BU chapter.

Even if vegetarianism isn’t your thing, it does pay to eat like one sometimes. Here’s a fabulous list of stuff you can make on days you feel vegetarian, or, when you feel like throwing a vegetarian-themed party.

1. Vegetarian Pancakes

……Pancake? Korean vegetable pancake or Swiss Rösti? It’s okay, I’m kinda confused too. I guess the point is to have vegetables be fried in a pancake shape.

And don’t you think it looks like “the perfect party appetizer”?

2. Tabbouleh

Yes you can get it at Whole Foods, but making it can be a fun thing to do too: get some friends to come over earlier to help with this simple party dish. No cooking required.

8. Stuffed Red Peppers with Basil

Not only will this look great on the party table–the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits of red peppers is a strong reason you should try making it. And if you love Italian flavors, this is for you.

9. Tempeh Salad

Tempeh is high in protein just like tofu, which makes it a good addition to any vegetarian dish. Who could have imagined how beautifully tempeh would blend in with the greens? Impress your Indonesian friends with this recipe for tempeh salad.
