Bananas Foster-Inspired Banana Bread

 - Preheat your oven for 350°F. Add your bananas to a mixing bowl and mash them up with a fork. Do this until you have a relatively smooth mixture. - #SpoonTip: If the bananas you have on hand aren’t too ripe, learn how to ripen them quickly here. 
 - Next, melt 1/3 cup of butter. Once melted, add to the banana mixture and mix everything together. 
 - Next, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and just a pinch of salt. Mix everything together. 
 - Next, add 3/4 cup of sugar. 
 - Beat one egg in a separate bowl and then add to your mixture. 
 - Next, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 
 - Add 1 1/2 cups of flour to the bowl and mix well until you have a relatively smooth consistency. 
 - Last, but certainly not least, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and mix well. 
 - Grease a 4×8 inch pan with either butter or PAM spray. Then, pour your mixture in. 
 - Before sliding your pan in the oven, sprinkle a dash of brown sugar all over the top. 
 - Pop the pan in the oven for 50 minutes to an hour. You can test if your loaf is finished by poking it with a fork and seeing if it comes out clean.  - Over low heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter in a small saucepan. 
 - Once melted, add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 3 tablespoons of heavy cream. Stir until dissolved. Allow it to bubble for about a minute and then allow it to cool for about 40 seconds. 
 - Drizzle the caramel sauce all over your banana bread. Wait a minute or two to allow everything to cool slightly. Cut yourself a piece and enjoy.
