How to Make Disney’s Iconic Dole Whip at Home

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at BU chapter.

You don’t need to revisit the Magic Kingdom or Disneyland to indulge in this amazing treat that hails from the Tiki Juice Bar. Making Dole Whip at home requires only two ingredients, and a high speed blender or food processor.

And if you’re sick of “nice cream” (shout out to my plant-based whole food eaters), this is a great alternative because pineapple has a lot of sweet health benefits.

I topped this version with fresh pineapple and shredded coconut, but you could easily make a Dole Whip Float simply by swirling in pineapple juice.

Add frozen pineapple and coconut water or milk to your blender. You will likely need to use a muddler if using a blender to help things get started.

    Scrape down sides as necessary.

Once it looks like ice cream, your Dole Whip is ready to eat or store in the freezer for later.

If storing in the freezer, be sure to store in plastic, as glass can crack.
