Which Traditional Thanksgiving Dish You Are Based On Your Zodiac Sign

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at BC chapter.

I can’t wait for Thanksgiving dinner and the turkey, the stuffing, the mashed potatoes, and all the pies! Just like each food has its own characteristics, so does every Zodiac sign. So check out which food you are according to the stars!

Aries (March 21-April 20): Cranberry Sauce

Aries are energetic, bold, and passionate, just like cranberry sauce. This tangy sauce is sweet and sour and has a great burst of flavor! I definitely can’t imagine a Thanksgiving dinner without it.

Taurus (April 21-May 21): Pecan Pie

Reliable, sweet, and stable, Tauruses are most definitely pecan pie. This southern classic is a sweet served at almost every Thanksgiving feast, so it is definitely a dish you can rely on.

Gemini (May 22-June21): Creamed Corn

Just like creamed corn, Geminis are light, fun, and sweet. Creamed corn is the most popular Thanksgiving dish in my family and everyone knows that Gemini always make the best friends.

Cancer (June 22-July 22): Sweet Potato Casserole

Cancers are the perfect combination of salty and sweet, just like sweet potato casserole. Whether your family does a savory or sweet casserole, it is always a popular side that everyone is sure to love.

Leo (July 23-August 22): Turkey

Leos are outgoing, talkative, and the center of attention, which definitely makes them the turkey. The turkey is definitely the star of the Thanksgiving dinner. If you’ve got leftovers, check out all these amazing ways to use leftover turkey.

Virgo (August 23-September 23): Stuffing

Virgos are known to strive for perfection, which is exactly how I think of stuffing. Stuffing is one of everyone’s favorite Thanksgiving dishes and is said to be the perfect combination of cornbread, biscuits, sausage and so much else.

Libra (September 24-October 23): Gravy

Sweet, balanced, and loved by everyone, Libras are surely gravy. Just like Libras, gravy pairs well with everything—turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and so much more.

Scorpio (October 24-November 22): Green Bean Casserole

Because Scorpios are so fun, passionate, and mysterious, their perfect Thanksgiving dish is a green bean casserole. This creamy side is a mixture of delicious flavors and textures, making each bite mysterious, just like your favorite Scorpio.

Sagittarius (November 23-December 21): Apple Pie

Just like a Sagittarius, apple pie is sweet, adventurous, and spontaneous. You never know with each bite whether it’ll be sour or sweet but you do know that it will be tasty. Here’s an amazing recipe for a classic apple pie that I definitely suggest trying this year.

Capricorn (December 22-January 20): Brussels Sprouts

Capricorns are driven, responsible, and disciplined just like brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts are a delicious Thanksgiving classic that everyone can’t help but eat because they are so good and make you feel like you’re being healthy, even if they’re covered in cream and cheese.

Aquarius (January 21-February 19): Pumpkin Pie

Shy, quiet, and trustworthy, Aquarius definitely goes with pumpkin pie. This popular dessert is so sweet and delicious, and screams Thanksgiving. I can’t even imagine a Thanksgiving dinner without a big ol’ slice of pumpkin pie.

Pisces (February 20-March 20): Mashed potatoes

Finally, Pisces are surely mashed potatoes. This delicious Thanksgiving side is creamy, dependable, and warm, just like a Pisces. Although more reserved than other popular dishes, mashed potatoes are so tasty and loved by everyone.

So while you’re trying to decide what to make this Thanksgiving, remember that maybe the stars have already decided what dish is perfect for you.

I am a biochemistry major, but that is not an option!  I am such a foodie and would love to get out to various restaurants or places around the city to write about.  I am especially interested in the health and nutrition so I would love to somehow incorporate that into articles.  I am not very involved on campus yet, so I have a lot of time to dedicate to Spoon.  I can't wait to get started!
