Cottage cheese… you’re thinking—how can it be that good? What could you possibly make of that? Let me tell you… pretty much anything. Cottage cheese is a versatile, protein-packed food—great for post-workouts. It has high nutritional value, it tastes amazing and it adds a unique twist to any meal.

#SpoonTip: I usually stick with the organic cottage cheese from Kalona. So. Good.

You of course don’t need to purchase this specific one, but I’ve noticed this flavor is just one of a kind. Here are some recipes that I highly recommend to cottage cheese lovers and cottage cheese virgins alike. 

Quinoa Salad with Cottage Cheese

    Cut up avocado into halves, use a SPOON! Don’t hurt yourself. Cut tomatoes, plop cottage cheese wherever, and sprinkle olive oil, salt and pepper, and pumpkin seeds lastly.

Cottage cheese is considered a fresh cheese, so it does not undergo an aging or ripening process to develop flavor. As a result, its mild flavor goes well with anything. It especially goes great with avocado, but be careful when cutting, don’t get avocado hands.
