    Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/6 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bag 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts optional

    Preheat the oven to 350° and grease the cookie sheets.

    Mix all the ingredients except for the chocolate chips and walnuts together in a large mixing bowl.
