10-Minute Vegan Avocado Mango Smoothie

I know when a lot of people hear the word vegan you might think of soggy tofu or some creepy dreadlocked-tie-dye-shirt-wearing nut job handing out fliers for a co-op; but this smoothie is out of this world. It brings together two delicious tropical fruits, both of which are super tasty plus they’re healthy. Personally I can drink these all day e’ry day, but it makes for a great on-the-go breakfast drink or something to help your body recoup after an extra tough workout.

Servings: 1 large cup

Ingredients

1 mango
1 avocado
1 teaspoon of honey (local if possible)
2 teaspoons of lemon juice

Directions:

1. Cube the avocado.

2. Cut up the mango, for information on how to properly cut a mango click here.

3. Place all the fruit into a blender.

4. Drizzle in the honey.

5. Pour in the lemon juice.

6. Blend on high until smooth throughout.
