Turmeric Pumpkin-Shaped Pancakes Are Too Good to Only Eat in Fall

You may already be convinced that turmeric is the nutrient-rich root for you. You may even already know of interesting ways to incorporate turmeric into your diet...But have you tried pancakes?

Turmeric is tasteless but full of the good stuff and gives this pumpkin pancake its orange hue.

Turmeric Pancakes

  • Cook Time: 5 mins
  • Total Time: 10 mins

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup pancake batter
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon raisins or chocolate chips

Step 1

Combine turmeric and pancake batter to create an orange batter for cooking. Cook pancake for about two minutes per side.

#SpoonTip: Make sure your pan is greased so your pumpkin does not stick.

Remove pancake from pan and top with raisins to create a pumpkin face.
