This Throwback Dino Egg Oatmeal Is the Perfect Way to Start Your Morning

Dinosaur Egg Oatmeal is loved by many kids (and their moms). While kids get to watch the Dino Eggs quickly dissolve into a colorful bowl of oats, moms know their kids are getting the nutrition not found in many sugary breakfast cereals.

Some may call this a food for the younger generations, but here were breaking all age barriers and giving you the recipe to make in the comfort of your own home. Using the ever so popular “puppy chow” method, this recipe combines simple ingredients to bring you your favorite #tbt breakfast.

    Melt 1/4 cup white chocolate chips and 1 tbsp of unsalted butter in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.

    Add 1/4 cup of dinosaur sprinkles to melted mixture and stir until coated.

    Add mixture to plastic baggie and add 1 cup of confectioner’s sugar. Shake bag until fully coated and eggs have formed.

    Add 3 cups of instant oats to a large mixing bowl.

    Blend 2 cups of oats in blender until powder. Add to bowl.

    Add 1/2 cup of milk powder to mixture.

    Add 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar to mixture.

    Add a pinch of salt.
