This Smoothie is the Perfect Way to Transition from Summer to Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at U Mich chapter.

Growing up, my mom always made smoothies for us. They could either be enjoyed as a snack or as a meal, depending on the drink’s additional ingredients. Unlike smoothies from many smoothie shops which are often packed with added sugar and artificial ingredients, her signature smoothie recipe is healthy yet delicious, so you don’t have to feel guilty about drinking it.

My mom always preaches the saying, “treat your body like a temple.” Make it feel that holy with this refreshing drink that will keep summer alive even as the leaves begin to fall and the school year starts to kick in.
