This Bacon Egg and Cheese Sushi is a Breakfast Miracle

Take the seaweed, rice, and raw fish out of the mix and add cheesy potatoes, peppers, and bacon. This twist on the typical sushi roll transforms the dish into an acceptable breakfast. Pour a glass of orange juice along side this roll instead of the typical green tea.

 

Bacon Sushi

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 35 minutes
  • Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup cheese
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 30 tater tots
  • 10 bacon strips
  • 1 egg

Step 1

Weave the bacon so that there are 5 strips length and 5 stips width wise.

Step 2

Add an egg to the tater tots and mash.

Slice the pepper.

Step 4

Spread tot mixture across the bacon weave, leaving about a strip of bacon uncovered at the top. Sprinkle cheddar cheese across the top and then place thin sliced peppers across.

Step 5

Roll the bacon up

Step 6

Secure with toothpicks and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

Step 7

Let it cool before carefully cutting into rolls.
