These Tropical Cocktails Are Cheaper Ways to Travel to the Islands

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, people. If you want some recipes for super easy, tropical cocktails that taste like they were taken off the menu of a five-star resort in the Bahamas, but actually only have three basic ingredients, then you’ve come to the right place. Stir it up and sip it down.

Ingredients
  • 2 oz Malibu Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz Captain Morgan Pineapple Rum
  • 1 cup pineapple orange juice
  • Splash 7-Up

Step 1

Fill pint glass with ice.

Step 2

Pour in both the Malibu and Captain Morgan.

Fill the rest of glass with pineapple orange juice.

Top it off with a splash of 7-Up and party on.

  • 3 oz Captain Morgan Pineapple Rum
  • 3/4 cup pineapple orange juice
  • 1/4 cup cranberry Juice

Step 1

Fill pint glass with ice.

Step 2

Pour in the Captain.

Fill the glass with pineapple orange juice, leaving 2 inches from the top for the cranberry finish.

Step 4

Finish it off with a hint of cranberry juice.

  • 2.5 oz Smirnoff Sour Fruit Punch Vodka
  • 1 cup pineapple orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine

Step 1

Fill pint glass with ice.

Step 2

Fill ‘er up with the vodka.

Step 3

Mix in the pineapple orange juice until glass is full.

Step 4

(Optional) Add a dash of grenadine for fanciness.
