Mac and Cheese Fries

Ingredients
  • 2 cup leftover mac & cheese
  • 17 oz vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Step 1

Chill leftover mac and cheese in a square container.

Step 2

Cut the chilled mac and cheese into rectangles approximately 1 x 1 x 7 cm.

Step 3

Mix parmesan and panko bread crumbs in a low rimmed bowl or plate.

Step 4

Beat an egg.

Step 5

Dip your rectangles in the beaten egg, then roll them in the parmesan bread crumbs.

Chill the mac and cheese rectangles 10-15 minutes.

Fry mac and cheese in vegetable oil at 375°F until golden brown.
