From pizza to churros, some of the best foods on the planet are those we eat with our hands. Sure, twirling strands of spaghetti on a fork or mastering the art of chopsticks can be fun, but there’s just something so enticing about eating a meal sans utensils.
When you’re in the mood to ditch the fork, throw it back to the days when you ordered off the kids menu and whip up a batch of these crispy baked chicken tenders with homemade honey mustard sauce. They’re finger-lickin’ good.

Crispy Baked Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix together breadcrumbs, 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Set aside.
#SpoonTip: Mixing your dry ingredients in a wide, shallow container (like a pie dish) will make for easy breading.
Add flour, egg, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper to a separate bowl. Mix with a fork to combine.
Coat a foil-lined baking sheet with nonstick spray. Set up your breading station as shown below.
Add your chicken to the egg and flour mixture and toss until coated. Working one at a time, add a piece of chicken to the breadcrumbs. Press to coat, then flip to coat the other side. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Spray lightly with nonstick spray.
Bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve with ketchup or honey mustard sauce.
