Graham Cracker Pecan Chocolate Bars

With holiday parties on overload, it’s time to forget boxed brownies. These bars are the easiest, and most creative option to bring to your potluck dinner. This recipe leaves a lot of space for experimentation, so don’t hesitate to substitute your favorites for chocolate chips and pecans.

Chocolate Graham Bars

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 sleeves graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 bag chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Step 1

Preheat oven at 350°F and spray 8×8 brownie tin with cooking spray.

Step 2

Crush graham crackers until they become crumbs and place in a bowl.

#SpoonTip: Put graham crackers in a plastic bag and smash with a textbook.

Step 3

Chop pecans and add to the bowl with crumbs. Add chocolate chips and salt, stir until combined.

Step 4

Pour sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in the bowl and stir until well combined.

Step 5

Pour batter into tin, and bake for 30 minutes. Take them out and let them cool completely.

Cut into squares, toss in powdered sugar, and serve.
