These Bacon Wrapped Loaded Cheeseburger Bombs Are Completely Sinful

Listen, they don’t want you to eat a ball of meat and cheese the size of a baseball, but you have to ignore those haters and achieve your dreams. Through hard work and a lack of self restraint we can all live a glorious life of unadulterated gluttony. That’s what this recipe is about.

I keep asking myself, Max, when are you going to get your sh*t together and start caring about what you put in your body? Apparently not today.

Step 3

Cut the onions in half and then cut off the ends. Peel and then remove the large outer layers from each of them. Save the leftover onions for another meal.

Step 4

Take about a fourth of the beef mixture and form it into a ball with your hands. Press a cheese cube into the ball and wrap the meat around it to form a larger, cheese stuffed meatball.

Step 5

Place the meatballs inside the two halves of each onion. They should resemble four really weird looking pokeballs.

Step 6

Wrap each onion/meatball with two strips of bacon and use toothpicks or meat skewers to hold them together.

Step 7

Place them on a foil lined sheet, making sure there is enough of an edge to trap grease, and bake at 350°F for at least 40 minutes or until the meat registers 150 degrees internal temperature.

Step 8

Serve accompanied with bbq sauce. You can drizzle it on there, serve it on the side, or baste it half way through the cooking process or at the end.

Step 9

Enjoy your monstrous creation. Attempt to eat two whole bombs in one sitting (as I did) and then reward your valiance with a much deserved nap.
