I usually like to start my mornings off with a nutritious breakfast. However, time flies by faster than I can savor each bite, and before I know it, I'm hustling up three flights of stairs to my 8:30am class, only to open the door to disapproving looks from people who were actually on time.

Because I'd like to enjoy three meals a day without compromising my sleep, and without being subjected to the exasperated sighs of my professors, I have turned to the miracle cereal that is Weetabix. This wonder-food is a popular English breakfast cereal with an oatmeal-like consistency, and I like to mix fruit, chia seeds and protein powder into it in order to create a speedy, filling and nourishing breakfast.

Without further ado, I introduce to you the Three-Minute Breakfast For People Who Are Always Late To Class. It's high in fiber, vegan, and can be made in - you guessed it! - three minutes. Read onward for the recipe, and never be hungry or late to class again!

Grab a bowl and cut the banana into thin slices. To save even more time, you can slice 3-4 bananas at the start of the week and stick them in the freezer until needed. Then, when you're making your cereal, just scoop some slices out of the fridge - an easy grab-and-go option!

Pour the milk and mix the contents of the bowl. Be sure to pour enough milk until it fills the bowl at least halfway, and carefully mix the cereal until you obtain an thick, oatmeal-like consistency. Add more milk as needed. If your mixture is too diluted, add more Weetabix or chia seeds as needed to thicken it.

And though this is a delicious combination, don't feel like you need to stick to these specific ingredients. Add any ingredients that appeal to you, from fruit puree, to chocolate chips, and even instant coffee for a refreshing boost to your morning. Here are some more combinations you can try:

- Breakfast Parfait: In a bowl, scoop in a spoonful of yogurt, crush one Weetabix on top of said scoop, fill the bowl with fruits of your choice, and drizzle the concoction with honey - a sweet start to your day.

- Craving dessert? Combine your Weetabix mixture with chocolate powder, drizzle it with Nutella, and top it off with marshmallows and crushed graham crackers, guaranteed to make you want S'more (get it?).

With so many combinations, the world of speedy breakfasts is at your fingertips. For an even swifter breakfast, prepare this cereal overnight, pop it in the fridge, and grab it before you leave for an obligation that you're constantly late for - but that you will never be late for again, thanks to this recipe!
