Ah, ramen. A college student’s best friend. But did you know that you can transform your favorite late-night microwave meal into a delicious dorm-friendly dessert recipe? Say hello to chocolate haystacks.
This easy, no-bake dessert is based on a simple butterscotch haystacks recipe. The best part is that you can mix-in whatever you like and make it your own! The haystacks above have pretzels and marshmallows. (Find more mix-in suggestions at the end of this article.)

Ingredients
Instructions
Slightly open each ramen package and remove/discard seasoning packets. Press on the package with your hand repeatedly to crush the noodles until no large clumps are left. Set aside.
Pour chocolate/white chocolate/butterscotch chips into medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT (60-70% power) for 1 minute then stir. Continue warming in 15 to 30-second intervals and stirring until fully melted.
Stir desired mix-ins and crushed ramen noodles into melted chocolate. (You can find mix-in suggestions at end of article)
Scoop 2-3 inch wide portions onto a flat baking sheet lined with wax paper or foil.
Refrigerate haystacks for 10-15 minutes, until firm. Then enjoy!
