New Years Eve is always a night filled with excitement, optimism, and for some, boozy celebration. But what happens the next morning when you wake up past noon with a raging headache and killer to-do list? Regardless of your night out, this Bloody Mary recipe has got your back. Bloody Marys have been known to cure even the worst of hangovers, with or without alcohol. With some added spice and candied bacon, this recipe will help you start the new year on the right foot.

The Perfect Bloody Mary Recipe with Candied Bacon

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉.

  2. Place 6 glasses in the freezer to chill.

  3. Juice two lemons and pour the juice into a large pitcher.

    In the same pitcher, add the Mr u0026 Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix, pickle juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt (optional) and pepper to taste. Stir the ingredients until they are mixed together.

    Next, mix the brown sugar and cayenne together in a small bowl, adding pepper to taste.

    Place 6 strips of bacon on a cookie sheet. Spread the brown sugar and cayenne mix evenly and in a thin layer over each strip of bacon.

  7. Place the bacon in the oven at 350℉ for 15 minutes or until crispy.

  8. Take the glasses out of the freezer. Add ice, one stalk of celery and 1 – 2 shots of vodka in each, depending on how strong you prefer your cocktail to be.

  9. Pour the Bloody Mary mix into the glasses, using the celery stalk to blend it with the vodka.

    Decorate your Bloody Mary! Add the lemon wedges, pickle slices, blue cheese stuffed olives, pickled green beans, and salami if you’d like. The more toppings, the more blessed your year will be!
