This creamy wine-less Parmesan Risotto is so delicious and easy to make. Using just 8 ingredients, you can make a restaurant-worthy meal from the comfort of your own dorm (or home)!
 
					Basic Wine-less Parmesan Risotto

 - Heat the vegetable stock in a saucepan over medium heat. Once simmering, then lower the temperature and keep warm. 
 - In a separate large pot/skillet, melt the butter and heat the oil. Add the rice and stir for 1 minute to coat all the grains. Add 1 ladle of heated broth to the rice, stir for a little bit, and then leave it for 2-3 minutes (until the liquid is nearly absorbed). Repeat this step until only one ladle of broth is remaining, and turn off the gas. 
 - Add the remaining broth, salt, and cheese to the rice and stir for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle in the black pepper and oregano. Finally, add in the red sauce if you would like to do so. Once all ingredients have been fully incorporated, serve immediately.
