3 Ways to Use Up Your Thanksgiving Leftovers Using Just a Waffle Iron

After Thanksgiving, your parents are most likely going to want to send you home with the leftovers they don't want. Instead of giving them the "I can't cook in my dorm" excuse, you can accept those Thanksgiving leftovers willingly because you can transform them in your waffle maker. If you don't have a waffle maker, I'm sure your dining hall has one, so give these recipes a try. With these recipes, you can have Thanksgiving leftovers all day every day, which is a dream come true.

Leftovers you'll need:

For all of these recipes, you need all of the classic Thanksgiving leftovers. You need leftover stuffing, turkey, gravy, and cranberry sauce. I prefer the canned cranberry sauce myself, but if you want to use fresh that works just as well.

Thanksgiving Leftovers Frittata

  • Prep Time: 5 mins
  • Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 splash milk
  • 1 tablespoon diced green and red peppers
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped turkey
  • 1 tablespoon stuffing
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Heat your waffle maker to medium heat and spray with non-stick spray.

Crack the eggs into a small bowl and add the milk.

Whisk the egg and milk mixture until combined.

Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir.

  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 3 slices turkey
  • 1 small slice canned cranberry sauce
  • 2 slices bread

Sprinkle cheese onto one piece of bread.
