These Dinner Rolls are the Fortune Cookies of Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving is a great time to celebrate with family.

However, we all get the dreaded questions: "Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?" "What are your plans after graduation?" "What can you do with that major?"

You can control the dinner conversations with this Thanksgiving dinner roll recipe. Add thankful thoughts, silly questions or "would you rathers" to the dinner rolls to get the conversations rolling. It's time to get thankful.

Thankful Rolls

Ingredients
  • 1 bag frozen bread dough
  • 1 piece paper cut into strips
  • Tin foil
  • Plastic wrap
  • Pen

Step 1

Write a thankful thought or conversation starter on each piece of paper.

Wrap in tin foil.

Step 3

Place two bread dough rolls in each muffin tin. Stick the thankful thought in between rolls.

Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 3 hours, or until the dough doubles in size.

Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F or as instructed.
