This Sweet and Salty Cracker Treat Puts Candy Bars to Shame
Nothing screams holiday time, like this epic sweet and salty "cookie" recipe. It's seriously addicting, and it makes a great homemade gift.
It's super simple to make and it will be ready before you know it.
My memories of making this with my mom as a child go something like this: I would place the tray into our second freezer in the garage, and then I would sit at the kitchen counter and wait for the giant "cookie" to be chilled enough to break into pieces and eat. I would hop off the bar stool every five minutes and go stick my finger in the chocolate to test for readiness. It always seemed like it took forever to completely chill, but then again I was blatantly hindering its chilling process by opening up the freezer door and letting a blast of cold air escape from the freezer every 5 minutes. At least I knew the moment it was ready to eat, right!?
You really never can go wrong with something that's sweet and salty.
