Skip the Circus and Give These Classic Animal Cookie Truffles a Shot

Whether you’re 5, 25 or 50, we can all remember eating those iconic pink and white frosted animal cookies. Maybe it was 10 years ago (or 10 minutes — we won’t tell) but today we are mashin’ em up and putting them in a truffle, and its amazing.

This 5 ingredient recipe is kitchen-dummy proof and will impress all your friends with its hot pink color and rainbow touch.

Circus Animal Cookie Truffles

Ingredients
  • 3 cup circus animal cookies
  • 1/2 can cream cheese frosting
  • 1 package vanilla almond bark
  • Pink food coloring
  • Rainbow sprinkles

Step 1

Crush 3 cups of circus animal cookies in a plastic bag or in a food processor.

In a large bowl, mix crushed cookies and 1/2 can of cream cheese frosting.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls.

Step 4

Chill truffle balls in freezer for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Melt 1 package of vanilla almond bark split between 2 separate bowls.

Step 6

Add pink food coloring to 1 bowl until vibrant.

Step 7

Dip chilled dough balls into melted almond bark until coated. Transfer to drying rack.

Add sprinkles to tops of truffles. Let dry until solid.
