If you have ever tried to make sushi on your own, with limited cooking skills like mine, chances are you have a sticky mess that is just falling apart.
Luckily, as long as you’re not too keen on the “sushi roll” look, you can still enjoy all the wonderful combined flavors of sushi that you crave — in a mason jar. Jar lunches are easy to put together, store, and carry around. With a little bit of prep and layering, you can easily have your own sushi in a jar.

Stir together vinegar and soy sauce until well combined. Add in hot rice, making sure to coat all grains. Let cool.
Chop cucumber into match sticks, chop avocado into small cubes, and cut nori into strips (about 1 inch X 1/4 inch).
#SpoonTip: Squeeze lime juice over the avocado to prevent browning.
Put a scoop of rice on top of nori, followed by cucumber sticks.
Put another scoop of rice on top and add the drained crab meat.
Place another scoop of rice on top followed by avocado.
