How to Make 3-Ingredient Raspberry Chia Seed Jam

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at SLU chapter.

If you’re a health nut, you have probably noticed that chia seeds are popping up in recipes everywhere now – overnight oats seems to be a favorite. Chia seeds are a great source of omega 3’s, but also fiber and protein. Plus 1 serving is just a tablespoon.

Aside from their health benefits, chia seeds can act as a thickener. When they sit in liquid for about 30 minutes or more, they start to absorb some of it which causes it to act as a thickening agent, just like in this jam.

Try out this recipe for your morning toast or your simple PB&J lunch.
