Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscutis

Preheat the oven to 450ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, quickly whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine the buttermilk with the melted butter.
Pour the buttermilk mixture over the flour, then mix together with a rubber spatula.
Quickly and gently fold in the shredded cheese.
Using a large scooper or a 1/4-cup measure, scoop out the batter onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
For the topping, whisk together the melted butter, parsley leaves, and garlic powder and brush onto the biscuits. Serve immediately.
