How to Make the Poboy Lover’s Pizza

My older sister once told me that if she’s eating one thing, she doesn’t want it to taste like another. Okay, clearly her life is void of all the amazing hybrid foods like the cronut, the hamburger pizza, and the everything bagel. The discovery of the poboy lover’s pizza is the biggest thing since the wheel. I mean good ole pizza with a New Orleans twist is just Pinterest worthy. This recipe will replace classic delivery pizza and easily become your new favorite.

Hot Sausage Pizza

  • Prep Time: 25 minutes
  • Cook Time: 25 minutes
  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Servings: 4 servings
  • Medium
Ingredients
  • Pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozarella
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 1 cup shredded hot sausage
  • Pepperoni slices

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Dice tomatoes and any other veggies you like, and sit aside.

Step 2

Roll the dough out onto a greased sheet. Poke holes on the base to prevent unwanted rising in the bottom.

Step 3

Add tomato sauce evenly onto the dough.

Sprinkle both the mozzarella and cheddar on top of the sauce.

Top with sausage, pepperoni, and a little more cheese.

Step 6

Bake in a 450 degree oven for 25 minutes or until the crust is golden and risen.
