    Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 cup milk
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 16 oz confectioners sugar
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup mini M&M's
  • 1 cup M&M's
  • 4 cup sprinkles

  • Step 1

    In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

    Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the milk until batter is smooth.

    Pour the cake mixture into five cake pans and bake at 350° F for 35 minutes.

    After cooling, remove the caramelization from each of the cakes. Cut holes in four of the five cakes and set aside.

    Make the buttercream by mixing together butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla, and milk.

    Stack the four cakes with holes frosting in between the layers. Mix together mini M&M’s, M&M’s, and sprinkles and add the mixture into the hole in the cake.

    Add the layer of cake without a hole to the top. Frost the entire cake, add sprinkles to the frosting, and pipe designs into the cake.
