DIY Avocado Face Masks

Oh, did you think avocado was only good for eating? Think again. These bad boys are ultra hydrating and can be used alone or combined with other ingredients to make the perfect face masks. Here are a couple combinations we love:

1. Avocado, Oatmeal and Honey

Cook 1/2 cup of oatmeal according to the instructions. In a separate bowl, mash 1 avocado. Mix the avocado into the oatmeal, add 1 tbsp of honey and apply it to your face for about 15 minutes. This combination will leave your skin moisturized and glowing.

2. Avocado and Egg White

Egg whites are about 90% water and 10% protein, helping hydrate and tighten the skin as well as prevent acne. To test this dynamic duo out for yourself, mash 1/4 an avocado, mix with 1 egg white and apply it to your face for about 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and enjoy your healthier skin!
