Alcoholic Girl Scout Cookie Milkshake

My milkshake brings Girl Scouts to my yard, and I’m like, “Great! Bring on the lard,” and they’re like, “We came here to party!”

If your neighborhood is anything like ours (University Village Family Housing at UC Berkeley), every day presents an opportunity to celebrate life, and the annual Girl Scouts cookie sales are no exception. Which is why, when I came stumbling home post-party last weekend, I looked at my box of Thin Mints in the freezer and promptly decided what to do next: add alcohol of course!

This is the perfect drink for the ladies who like their ice cream and their alcohol. It is the perfect drink for girls on their period, and an even better recipe for the people who love them. And it goes a little something like this. . . Hit it!

Easy

Thing One (Oh, the places you will go!)

Total Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
4 oz. Grey Goose vodka (Scholarship $$$)
1 oz. Crème de Menthe (Because grandmothers know best)
1 scoop Mint Chip ice cream (Trader Joe’s)
2 Thin Mints (slightly crumbled in clean hand)
½ cup milk (substitute with soy milk or almond milk)
1 BIG healthy splash of water (Hydrate!)

Directions:

1. Pulse everything in a blender until thick but not runny, because runny is gross.

2. Pour into cutest glass you have.

3. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint that conveniently grows wild just outside your front door.

4. Consume.

Thing Two
