‘Tis the season for everything and anything to be pumpkin flavored. For the plant-based foodies though, we like to keep it made of wholesome ingredients.

This vegan-friendly pumpkin spice latte takes 5 minutes to make and contains actual pumpkin (unlike the infamous PSL), and doesn’t contain artificial sweeteners, cane sugar, preservatives or weird artificial colors.

If you don’t have pumpkin butter in your fridge, pumpkin puree is a great substitute you might just want to add an extra pinch of coconut sugar.

Vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte

  • Easy

    Ingredients

  • 1-2 shots espresso
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon coconut sugar
  • Step 1

    Froth the almond milk.

#SpoonTip: If you don’t have a frother, try this alternative method in the microwave.

  • Step 2

Mix pumpkin butter, pumpkin spice, vanilla and coconut sugar in the mug you plan to drink from.

  • Step 3

Brew espresso (or 2-4 oz. of the strongest coffee you have) right into the mug. The hot coffee will do most of the work required to dissolve the coconut sugar for you.

#SpoonTip: You can brew coffee using your Keurig or a regular old coffeemaker.

  • Step 4

Give the espresso and pumpkin mix a stir before pouring in the frothed almond milk. Add another dash of pumpkin spice and enjoy.
