We all need to satisfy our sweet tooth every once in a while, though, and quick and easy is the way to do it. And it’s actually possible with these no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. That’s right: no oven required.

No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

    Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 1/2 cups quick oats

  • Step 1

    Combine sugar, butter, milk, peanut butter and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes.

    Remove from heat. Slowly add oats and stir into chocolate-peanut butter mixture. Stir well.

    Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper (or a plate if, like me, you don't have wax paper lying around).
