Make These Brownies With Your Leftover Cadbury Creme Eggs

When looking to make the ultimate treat yo’self dessert, combining your two favorite things is the best way to do it. In this case, brownies and Cadbury Creme eggs make the perfect couple.

The second these ooey goey creme filled eggs made their way across the pond, America became great again (insert sarcasm here). Seriously though, people go nuts over these eggs.

Easter calls for your typical fight to the death easter egg hunt followed by a massive feasting on whatever goodies the adults made. But why not one up them and have all the kids jump to your dessert table? That’s right, you have no reason not to. These Cadbury Creme brownies with crushed Cadbury Easter egg topping will make you Easter king/queen.

Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients
  • 3 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup room temperature butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 20 mini cadbury creme eggs, unwrapped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cadbury Easter Eggs

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

Microwave chocolate chips 30 seconds at a time, until melted. Stir to combine. Set aside.

Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 4

Add egg and stir well.

Step 5

Pour in melted chocolate and keep stirring.

Add the flour mixed with baking powder into bowl, slowly.

Step 7

Spread the batter on the bottom of the prepared pan and press in the Cadbury creme eggs.

Bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is set and firm to touch.

Crush Cadbury easter eggs.

Step 10

Once brownies are out of the oven, scatter crushed eggs over brownies and lightly press down.

Let cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
