How to Make Salad Pizza For When You’re Trying to Stay Healthy

People complain about eating salads when they’re trying to be healthy, but would you still be anti-salad if you could have it as a pizza? Salads are great if you are low on groceries or can’t make up your mind about what to eat because you can literally throw anything together and have a salad. Salad pizza is made up of warm, crispy dough topped with your favorite veggies, which makes it the perfect, healthy meal. So if you’re working towards that summer bod but still craving pizza (like always), this should definitely be your go-to recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1/3 pizza dough
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1 1/2 cup arugula
  • 1/3 cup caramelized onion
  • 2 tablespoon feta
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon dried cranberries
  • Balsamic glaze

Step 1

Cook pizza dough according to directions on packaging. Once pizza dough is at room temperature, mash avocado in a bowl with a fork and spread across dough.

Put arugula and all toppings into a bowl.

Mix salad together and place on top of pizza. Drizzle with balsamic and enjoy!
