How to Make Mini Cheesesteak Bites Using a Muffin Tin

Philly might be known for its wonderful cheesesteak, but you don’t have to travel far to have the same great taste. In fact, if you have a muffin tin, you can put a twist on an undeniable classic. Cheesesteaks are wonderful anytime, and now that they’re in bite form, you have the ability to share with everyone.

Cheesesteak Bites

  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup deli roast beef, chopped
  • 3 slices sharp Vermont white cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon horseradish sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced sweet onion
  • 8 oz crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, chopped

Step 1

Roll out the crescent roll dough, pinch together the seams to make a large rectangle, and cut out 12 squares.

Step 2

Add butter to a mini cupcake tin. Carefully place each square into the muffin cups of the mini muffin pan.

Step 3

Mix together the chopped roast beef, diced onion and pepper and the horseradish sauce.

Step 4

Place 1 tsp of the cheesesteak mixture into each dough cup.

Step 5

Cut each slice of cheese into 12 square shaped slices and place a slice of cheese over each cup.

Step 6

Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped green onion and dip in ketchup, if desired. Enjoy!
