How to Make Gulkand, an Indian Rose Petal Preserve

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UDelhi chapter.

One common problem with us teenaged girls is that we get so many roses, and it may seem over whelming and sweet at the time, but then we don’t know what to do with the rose. So, throw it away? Nah, we hardly ever feel like it. Let it rot? Sounds worse. We have a better plan, make gulkand! This sweet rose petal preserve is easy to make and is absolutely delicious.
