How to Make a Deviled Egg in Just 10 Minutes

When you go to a nice party, do your eyes head straight for the delicately arranged deviled eggs on the appetizer table? Do you subtly take a handful of them in hopes no one will notice? Do you soon get a really terrible stomach ache because you literally inhaled the entire platter?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this recipe is probably for you. Plus, if you’re ever at the dining hall and you want to jazz up your typical hard-boiled egg, this recipe is sure to do the trick.

Deviled Egg

Ingredients
  • 1 large hard-boiled egg
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 pinch paprika

Step 1

Grab a hard-boiled egg and peel away the shell.

Slice the egg in half, the long way.

Scoop the yolk out and place yolk in a bowl.

Step 4

Mash the yolk until finely ground.

Step 5

Add in mayo and Dijon mustard. Mix until smooth.

Step 6

Spoon the filling into the bowl of each egg white.

Top with paprika and serve cold.
