Candied Cranberries
Ingredients
Instructions
Rinse, drain, and dry cranberries and place in a large bowl.
In a microwave safe bowl, pour 2 cups sugar and water and mix.
Put in the microwave on high for 90 seconds. Stir and microwave again for 45 seconds or until all sugar has dissolved.
Pour the simple syrup over the cranberries and coat. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Drain cranberries and spread them on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cup of sugar, making sure all cranberries are coated.
Let them sit at room temperature until they have dried out a bit and the sugar is crisp.
