Not that this is a common case for us college students, but you may have some wine laying around your fridge that isn’t enough to drink, but is too much to throw out. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “If I had wine, why wouldn’t I drink it?!” But hear me out. These strawberries have all the freshness of sangria, but are way easier to make, and probably taste better. You have no reason not to make them.

Servings: 3-4
Ingredients:
2-3 cups strawberries
2-3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons Merlot, or any red wine
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Whipped cream
Directions:
1. Hull and cut the strawberries into halves or quarters.
2. Put strawberries into a bowl, and top with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, depending on your preferred sweetness.
3. Add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla and 3 tablespoons of red wine.
4. Top with whipped cream, yogurt or ice cream and go to town.
