How to Keep JMU’s Peanut Butter Pie in Your Life Post Graduation

For seniors graduating, you’ll be missing quad-chills, home football games but most importantly, you’ll be missing JMU’s notorious peanut butter pie. However, don’t fret. We replicated this recipe for you take with you post-grad. We dare you not to lick the pie tin.

Ingredients
  • 13.5 oz Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 row of Oreos
  • 1 9 inch aluminum pie pan

Step 1

Mix the Graham Cracker crumbs with the sugar in a medium sized bowl.

Step 2

Melt your butter then add it to mixture. Boom your crust is done.

Step 3

Press your mixture into your 9 inch pie pan until it looks like this. Place that crust into the fridge for now. Don’t eat it, yet.

Step 4

Let’s make that filling! Mix your peanut butter, cream cheese, Cool Whip, and powdered sugar in a separate medium bowl until this magic happens.

Step 5

With the Oreos of your choice, take a row and smash the heck out of them in a baggie. Leave the stress and anxiety of graduating with no money and/or no job behind and make your dream pie. Now mix that in with your filling.

Step 6

Take out your pie crust and fill it to the top with this delectable pie mixture. Stick it in the fridge for 1-2 hours until it’s the consistency your little heart desires and desperately needs.
