With the exam season having gone, and us being cooped up in our razais, surrounded by books and reading lists we've always meant to read-sometimes all we need is an ooey, gooey, treackly toffee dessert sauce that can be whipped in minutes to satisfy our sweet cravings. 

This sauce is not only ready in 10 minutes and uses only 5 ingredients, but can be eaten over anything - ice-cream, cake, Parle-G or just straight out of the jar.

  • Brown sugar- 1 cup packed
  • Heavy cream- 1/2 cup
  • Butter- 4 tablespoons
  • Sea Salt- a pinch

    In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, heavy cream, butter and sea salt.

    Cook on a medium-low heat while whisking gently for 5 to 7 minutes, until it gets thicker
