Going blueberry picking is a summer tradition in my family. Every year, we go to a local farm and pick as many blueberries as we can, making bets of who can pick the most. Once we get home, arms grasping giant bowls of blueberries, it hits us that we have way too many of them. After eating some and freezing some, we still have a few more giant bowls of blueberries, which means that it is time to get baking.

#SpoonTip: Here's how to store your blueberries to keep them fresh

Blueberries are a perfect ingredient to use in desserts. They are a superfood, for your taste buds and your body. Not only are blueberries delicious, but they are also are rich in antioxidants and packed full of important vitamins such as vitamin C and vitamin K, making them the perfect candidate for a dessert: healthy and tasty.

This brown sugar blueberry cereal crisp is a twist on Martha Stewart's delicious blueberry crisp recipe. Not only does it use up those extra blueberries from the kitchen, but it also makes use of the pesky cereal crumbs from the bottom of the bag of your favorite cereal.
