How to Make Psychedelic Tie-Dye Cupcakes From Scratch

Tired of your average bake sale chocolate chip cookies, basic brownies, or plain 'ol cupcakes? My solution: Tie-Dye Cupcakes.

I used to make these cupcakes for school functions and bake sales, and the bright, enticing colors of the cupcakes made them an instant bestseller. I created this recipe by toying around with food coloring because I was bored by the dullness of the plain vanilla cupcake. Next time you're looking to shake it up in the kitchen, give these tie-dye cupcakes a try.

Step 5

Let them fully cool before adding frosting and sprinkles.

#SpoonTip: Fill a plastic sealable bag with icing and cut a small slit in the the corner for pro-piping.
