How to Make Jell-O Shots in Your Keurig
Everyone loves Jell-O shots; it’s nearly impossible to resist their bright appearance paired with the ease of sucking one back. Sadly, as your willingness to down these bad boys rises, your accessibility to the proper Jell-O-shot-making materials decreases. Dorm kitchen access is limited, but if you have a Keurig, you’re in for a treat. Get ready to make it rain Jell-O shots with this simple hack that allows you to make them without stepping a foot outside your dorm room.
Keurig Jell-O Shots
- Prep Time: 8 minutes
- Cook Time: 60-90 minutes

Ingredients
- 3 ounce pack of Jell-O gellatin
- 1/2 cup vodka of choice (I like Tito's because Texas forever)
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup cold water
Step 1
Open the Jell-O box and add the mix to a 2-quart bowl.
Step 2
Put the bowl under the the Keurig liquid dispenser. Lift the Keurig handle and make sure there is no pod in the slot. Close the lid and brew 8 ounces of hot water into the bowl.
Step 3
Mix the hot water and Jell-O mix until the mix has fully dissolved into the water (about 2 minutes).
Step 4
Add the vodka and cold water to the mix and stir until well incorporated.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into 2 ounces plastic storage cups until they are about 1/2 to 3/4 of of the way full.
Step 6
Cover the containers and place them in the refrigerator to set for 60-90 minutes.
Step 7
Take the set Jell-O shots out of the refrigerator and enjoy responsibly.
