These Homemade Granola Bars Are Way Healthier Than the Boxed Kind

Granola bars are perfect for mornings when you need a meal on-the-go. But it can be tough trying to find store-bought breakfast bars that aren’t totally packed with artificial sweeteners. The perfect solution? No-bake homemade granola bars. This recipe takes just under an hour to make, but the extra time is worth it, yielding 12 bars and nearly two weeks worth of breakfast. So ditch the artificial sweeteners and put in the extra time to make these homemade granola bars.

Ingredients
  • 2 cup quick cooking oats
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ tablespoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 1 cup almond butter

Step 1

In a large bowl, add in the oats, almonds, and chocolate chips.

Add in the raisins, almond butter, honey, cinnamon, and mix together.

In an 8×8 tray lined with parchment paper, pour in the mixture and press down into place with a spatula.

Set aside for at least 45 minutes to let harden, or place in the refrigerator to speed up the process.

Once firm, slice into bars and you’re ready to go.
